TURMIX. First we Invented the Blender, then Came the Nespresso Coffeemaker. Every age has its own challenges: In 1944, a cocktail shaker was the inspiration for Traugott Oertli, the Swiss founder of TURMIX, to invent the blender (then a household appliance that catered to the necessities of food rationing) which in time became an indispensable kitchen appliance.
42 years later the same company set another milestone and designed an espressomaker that was compatible with the Nespresso capsule that Nestlé had just invented.
Today TURMIX not only stands for mixing, blending, stirring, kneading and food preparation, but also for comfortable living.
Decades of experience have lead to the company's present market position and a wide and varied range of products. Coffeemakers, toasters, juicers, steam cookers, humidifiers and purifiers are today part of the quality and design-oriented TURMIX line of brand name products.
